Corning Glass Museum Exhibits Global Contemporary Glass Products
Corning Glass Museum announced that it will invite 100 artists from 32 countries to participate in the Global Contemporary Glass Products Exhibition. The exhibition will open on May 12, 2019. The exhibits will range from large installations to sophisticated mini-equipment, from video playback to glass chemistry experiments. The Corning Museum of Glass is the home base of contemporary glass collections, with approximately 13,000 works settled here. The museum also provides a platform for contemporary artists to research, experience and present. The 26,000-square-foot contemporary gallery is the world's largest contemporary glass art and design exhibition area. The gallery is part of the museum's contemporary art and design exhibition, designed and built by Thomas Phifer and Partners, and officially opened in 2015.
